I’m Mike Howse, a suspension nerd. I became fascinated with the progression of suspension technology in 1996 and began tuning parts in 1998. (Yep, 24 years.) I raced downhill professionally for a while but retired to go full-time as an enthusiast of all things mountain bike. My passion for suspension burns deep and I know I can improve everyone’s experiences.

I’m originally from Colorado and have ridden everything from Utah’s sandstone to French Alp steeps, though home is the Pacific Northwest’s loam. I have worked in bike shops and suspension shops, for suspension companies and bicycle manufacturers, and on the world cup race circuit.

Now I’m bringing that experience and passion to share with you.
